Is your site up?
Does your homepage load? And how long does it take?
Runs on any siteSiteHealth checks your website every hour. It looks for problems that show no error at all. A contact form that never delivers. Email that lands in spam. A payment page still using test keys. A certificate about to expire. A config file anyone can download. Each problem is explained in one plain sentence, with steps to fix it. There are more than twenty checks, in six areas: uptime, email, security, speed, search, and content.

Runs on any siteEvery check sits in one of six areas. Each area is worth a share of your score. So a broken contact form counts far more than a missing favicon.
Some things are too serious to score around. Your site is down. Your certificate expired. Your domain lapsed. Your contact form stopped delivering. If any of those happen, your score is capped at 49. It does not matter how good the rest is. A site nobody can use or contact is not a healthy site.
Send yourself a message through it from your phone, using mobile data rather than your office wifi, and check the spam folder too. A form that shows a thank-you page has only proved the page loaded, not that the email was delivered. Automated hourly testing catches the day it silently stops.
Almost always because your domain is missing SPF, DKIM or DMARC records, which are the three DNS entries that prove your mail is really from you. Mail sent by a website form is the most common casualty, because the site often sends using an address it is not authorised to use.
Hourly is the practical standard. Most silent failures — an expired certificate, a form that stops delivering, a hacked page — do their damage in the hours before anyone notices. A daily check can still miss most of a working day.
Above 90 means nothing is broken and only small improvements remain. Between 70 and 90 means the site works but something is costing you visitors. Below 50 usually means at least one thing is actively broken, such as a failing form or an expired certificate.
