Terms of service

Use SiteHealth to monitor websites you own or are authorised to manage. We do our best to report problems accurately, but you are responsible for your own website.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person or business per account; do not share logins.

Sites you may monitor

You may add any site for a basic check. You may only verify ownership of, and run the deeper checks on, a site you own or have permission to manage. Verifying a site you do not control is a breach of these terms and we may close your account.

What our checks do

We request pages from your site, look up public DNS and domain records, and — on verified sites only — submit your contact form once per check and request common file paths. We limit ourselves to one request per second per site and obey robots.txt for crawling.

No guarantee

We report what we find. We cannot promise to find every problem, and a passing score is not a warranty that your site is secure or working. Always test anything that matters to your business yourself as well.

Payment

Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance. You can cancel at any time and your plan continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused time, but if something goes genuinely wrong, email us.

Ending the service

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that abuses the service, tries to monitor sites it does not control, or does not pay.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.
